TRADITIONAL USE

Nettle has long been used in traditional medicine to treat benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and urinary tract infections.

In Ancient Greece, nettle was used primarily as a diuretic and laxative.

FOLKLORE & HISTORY

Nettle has been used for its healing properties for over 2000 years, more recently its medicinal potential and pharmacological qualities have been more fully appreciated.

It is a protective plant that was traditionally used for breaking spells and jinxes.
